By now most people know about Pinterest. And if you don't you are totally missing out! Most girls dream about their weddings LONG before they actually get engaged or start dating someone seriously and that Pinterest board is quickly being filled with ideas for the perfect day. Well here are our tips to use this great tool to help you have the wedding of your dreams!
1. Be inspired and put your own twist on things! Get ideas from the pictures that you see but make it personal for you! See a picture for a candy table but not crazy about sweets, make it a build your own trail mix and share pictures of you and your fiancĂ© hiking in the mountains!

2. Don't get caught up on I have to find this exact dress! Many of the photo's come from Blog's or photographers websites and tracking down the exact dress may be next to impossible because of custom made dresses, dresses being discontinued or alterations made to the dress from the start. Look at what you like about the dress and find things that embrace that feel. Maybe it is the neckline you really like not the skirt. Take pictures to your bridal appointment and your consultant should be able to help you find something that works with your shape and style and still embraces the elements you love in the picture.

3. Don't get scammed! There are thousands of websites that use designers photo's with unrealistic prices. Just because it is on the internet doesn't mean it is real. You wouldn't buy an ipad online for $39 because that isn't what they cost. The same goes for that designer dress you have been looking at. Pinterest has been infiltrated with the scam websites so do your homework, see how they ship(DHL is an international shipper ONLY meaning it has to start in another country, meaning you are not dealing with someone who has to follow the laws of the United States so if the deal goes wrong you might not get your money back).

4. Make a private board. Somethings you want to be a surprise at your wedding so by making a private board everyone else won't see what you are pinning. This works great if your BFF is also engaged so your don't end up with copycat weddings. Also if she does happen to like the same mason jar centerpiece idea as you, be cool. You are not the first person to think of this and you will not be the last. Keep your spontaneous creativity to yourself for that wow moment at your wedding!

5. Remember to not get totally sucked into the pinterest world. It is SO EASY to spend hours online looking at everyone else's great ideas. Flowers won't be in season, cakes won't taste as good as they look, pictures are always photoshopped and that's ok. Remember this is a time to spend with your fiancĂ© and you only get to be engaged once! There will be time for dream house boards, yummy recipes and even baby boards one day!
Use Pinterest wisely and it will help you have an amazing wedding and don't forget to follow us on Pinterest!

Shopping tips!

Shopping for the perfect dress doesn't have to be stressful we wanted to share Margene's 10 things you should know before shopping for your dress!

1. KNOW YOUR BUDGET!
Over inflating or under inflating your budget can cause you to fall in love with a dress that isn't meant to be or cause you to miss out on what you would really feel fabulous in! Plus no parent wants to have to tell their daughter no when she is planning the biggest day of her life!

2. KNOW YOUR LOCATION
A gown perfect for beach wedding and a church wedding is hard to find. By knowing where your wedding is going to take place you can eliminate a lot of stress from the start!

3. SHARE YOUR VISION
If you are thinking a modern feel and mom wants a classic Cinderella gown there will be some confusion! Remind your shopping buddies that it is your dress!

4. BE OPEN TO ALTERATIONS
It is amazing what tweaks can be made by a qualified seamstress. This can be anything from removing beading to a custom neckline!

5. LEAVE ROOM IN THE BUDGET FOR THE EXTRA'S
If you max out your budget on the dress and then fall in love with the perfect veil/tiara/necklace that is the perfect compliment you may be left feeling blue that you don't have it, and the bride should not have wedding blue's on her big day!

6. IT'S OK TO LOVE THE FIRST DRESS!
You know what you like and have your personal style. If you know what you want and you find it, why would you keep looking!

7. LOOK FOR THE BALANCE
You have been shopping before and know that not everything that looks good on the mannequin is right for you! The same goes for those pictures in magazines and online. Trust your consultant to help identify what gown looks best on you.

8. BE OPEN TO DIFFERENT STYLES
Your consultant help's 100's of women every year and knows every dress that is in the store. Be willing to try things on, you may surprise yourself.

9. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS
Only you know what you feel. Do you like everything that everyone else wears all the time? It can be hard when family and friends don't like your choice, but remember it is your choice!

10. SAY YES AND STOP SHOPPING!
When you second guess your decision or your entourage does that for you it just makes things more stressful. You know you better than anyone and if it is what you want stick with it!

Fall Wedding Ideas

Fall weddings are becoming more popular every year. There is an instant color scheme to work with and lots of fabulous ideas that only work in the fall months!

Colors
The most popular colors are reds, oranges, and browns but be daring and add greens and deep purples for a different richness! Use color to really set the mood!

Locations
Fall is great for late afternoon outdoor weddings. Parks that have trees with the leaves changing or indoor locations with a garden for some fabulous outdoor photos work nice!

Dress
Ivory dresses compliment your fabulous summer tan and the changing colors of the fall! Look for structured silhouettes with detail work in a subtle contrasting color to add texture. Also keep in mind if you are outside it may get a little chilly and you may want a little jacket or wrap for the evening!

Flowers
Keep things in season to maximize your impact and color scheme! Don't be afraid to let your florist use creativity when working with your wedding flowers, pumpkins and other seasonal produce create wonderful and unique focal points that are unavailable any other time of the year!

Food
When the leaves start to fall people start to think of all the comfort food they have missed all summer long! Incorporate in seasonal elements like warm apple cider or a pumpkin dessert to keep with the fall theme!
