Trend Report-2 Piece dresses

I guess the saying is true, what is old is new again!
In August Miss Arkansas Teen USA wore a 2 piece gown.
Which made me think isn't that the look that Miss America 2005 wore?

Award winning designer Tony Bowls has made it possible for everyone to have this winning pageant look in his Tony Bowls Evenings Collection!

Would you rock this look?

Miss America Dress Swap

Did you see the fabulous letter in fourpoints magazine about what Miss America has been up to since being crowned in January? What a fun year traveling coast to coast and getting to meet some incredible people!  Well we did and saw this fabulous photo thanks Matthew Boyd for taking this photo. We did some checking and you guessed it, the dress she is wearing in the photo is available at Margene's Bridal! There is no swap here, you can get the real deal! It is from a brand new company that we recently picked up and we are so glad we did! The best part is. . .this dress is only $398! It would be great for a pageant, formal event, prom, or just to wear around the house! For more information on the dress and how you can make it your own you can get all our contact information on our website!

Miss Brazil Dress swap!

Miss Brazil wore this amazing gown during the Miss Universe pageant, the lines of beading create a burst effect at the waist that shows off how TINY she is!

We recommend to get this winning look this black gown with similar beading pattern! This black dress is part of a new collection of gowns available at Margene's bridal in 2013!
Miss Nevada Dress Swap

Miss Nevada rocked this gown to 3rd runner up at the Miss USA pageant so well Sherri Hill introduced it in her spring 2013 line!

How to ask your date to homecoming!

Fun and creative ways to ask/answer
your date to homecoming!

1. Send Black and White balloons with the attached note!

Black or white, wrong or right go with me on homecoming night! Black means no, white means yes! Answer me quick so I won’t have to guess!

2.       I would go nuts if you didn't go to homecoming with me!
Lots of ways to do this. You could fill room/car/box with packing peanuts with your name written on one.
Get actual nuts and put in a container, hide your name somewhere.
Get candy with nuts in it.

3.       Now that I have kissed the ground you walked on and showered you with roses, will you go with me?
Put Hershey kisses all over the floor and either sprinkle rose petals on the floor
or rig some way for them to drop when she opens the door.

4.       Glow in the dark stars on the ceiling!
LOVE this! You can write the message or the answer!

5.       Now that I’ve made Pigs fly will you go to homecoming with me?
You can attach pictures of pigs to balloons or make the pigs the actual balloons, put in a box and make sure when they open it the balloons float up! They could pop the balloons to find your name or it could be written at the bottom of the box!

6.       Scavenger Hunt
Send your date EVERYWHERE to see who you are or if you are going to say yes! Some ideas of where to send them to find the next clue: Start with their locker at the end of school, book at the public/school library, park, friends, check with a local business, it is only limited by your imagination!

7.       All the fish in the sea will you go to the dance with me?

Fill the bathtub with real fish, a fishbowl with jello and gummy fish,
boxes of goldfish crackers, stuffed animal of a fish, poster on the wall of a fish, you name it!

8.       It would break my heart if you didn’t go to homecoming with me!

You could make a papermache heart(think pinata) and have your name in the heart,
freeze a heart shaped ice-cube with your name in it,
bake a heart shaped cake/brownie,
Heart shaped pillow that she has to cut open.

9.       Sidewalk chalk

You could draw a line to follow,
write the message out for to read,
or even trace your body get crime tape and say "It would be a crime not to go with me to Homecoming!"

10. Candy Bar Poster

Make a mad lib poster with the Candy Bar's in a separate bag. Include an extra one and hide your name in it.
