Real bride Jessica

We LOVE seeing how our brides visions come together for their special day! Here is Jessica who was married February 9, 2013 in the Idaho Falls Temple!

In her own words Jessica tells about the details that made her day unique!

I met my husband in a political science class at BYU-I, and we knew each other for about two months before we started dating. We dated for exactly one month and one day before we got engaged. We knew we were going to be married almost immediately, though. Since then, we've moved to Texas, and bought a puppy. We are so happy, and I just love our little family. I am so glad we got married, and I know if I had to do it again I'd do it all the same. The wedding was absolutely amazing, and my dress blew my mind. It started out COMPLETELY sleeveless. Amazing, right?! That sweet woman that altered my dress is absolutely amazing! You would never know we had added the entire top to the dress. It looked perfect, and I got tons of compliments on it. Thank you so much for your help in finding me the perfect dress! I couldn't be happier!

My bouquet (which I was totally obsessed with) and all other flowers were done by Floral Art, in Idaho Falls. They are so talented!

My cake was done by Ashley's Cakes by design, based out of Rexburg.
She is amazing, and can pretty much do anything you can think of.

My food was done by my family, with truffles by Love at First Bite, in snake river landing, Idaho Falls.

My ring is from Alpine Jewelers, in Idaho Falls.

My reception was held at Frank Vandersloot's ranch, Riverbend Ranch.

HUGE THANK YOU TO TRUE ATELIER PHOTOGRAPHY

For the amazing photo's

Kaley Sparling MRS. WORLD!!

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Well after the Mrs. America Pageant and placing first runner up, Kaley came back to Idaho to finish her year as Mrs. Idaho. A couple weeks later she received a call and an invitation to head to China in just 6 weeks to compete at Mrs. World. With nothing to lose and an opportunity of a lifetime she jumped at the chance. We are so excited for her and the wonderful job she will do representing married women around the world. She is an incredible lady and we are proud to have met her along her journey!

Kaley won in a custom Johnathan Kayne dress from Margene's Bridal!

Brooklyn's Wedding

We love it when brides take one of our dresses and really personalize it to make it her own! Brooklyn had her grandma take off the short sleeves and add this 3/4 sleeve. Thank you to KT photography in Pocatello for the pictures!

Bones Wedding!

Tonight is the much anticipated wedding on Bones! I love weddings on TV shows since they are trying to be real people they have more realistic parameters surrounding them and they aren't unrealistic celebrity weddings! In last week's episode where Bones showed the picture of the dress she dreamed about as a little girl we were excited because we spotted some of the latest trends that we love too!

We love the lace top, natural waist and flowing skirt! We have found a dresses that can give you this look and the best part is, you don't have to be a best selling author/forensic anthropologist marrying a FBI murder solving/elite snipper to have this look for your wedding! Ok maybe it isn't very realistic parameters for the wedding! But check it out anyway and let us know what you think!

While not as plunging as the Bones dress, we think this 2014 Allure Bridal style will give you a similar look. The top is a sweetheart with an illusion neckline to give you a little more coverage. The cap sleeves could easily be cut down as well to give you more of the shape if you had to have the Bones dress. The natural waist highlights your skinny and the full skirt is so on trend for this year! A simple embellished belt would finish the look and give you what we think could be your winning look!

We wish we could include a look alike for the groom too, but that is just wishful thinking!

Do you love Bones? We would love to know your thoughts after tonights wedding!

Trend Report-Jersey

Jersey has been a fabric that has been in pageant and prom gowns for years but not one that you have seen in bridal very often. This year at market we saw multiple designers showing a couple styles in jersey. One of the characteristics of jersey is the the pile(thickness of the fabric) and its ability to drape nicely. This is one of the jersey dresses styles available by Allure Bridals that will be available in the Boise store for Spring 2014. What do you think? Would you dare to wear jersey?

Trend Report-Peplums!

Peplum's started becoming a fashion statement in the 1860's but the term come from the greek word "peplos" from the early Greeks who also had a sense of fashion and had a decorative detail on the skirt!

This style can be seen all over ready to wear and has transitioned to bridal! What do you think of this trend is it a I do or an I don't?

Miss Brazil Dress swap!

Miss Brazil wore this amazing gown during the Miss Universe pageant, the lines of beading create a burst effect at the waist that shows off how TINY she is!

We recommend to get this winning look this black gown with similar beading pattern! This black dress is part of a new collection of gowns available at Margene's bridal in 2013!

Former Fashion Team members!

Each year we pick several local high school girls to be on our fashion team. They help us when we need models for fashion shows, tell their friends how wonderful we are, and ultimately can get a FREE prom dress! Since we have been doing this for over 5 years many are starting to get married and we get to help them again! Here are some pics to enjoy!

Congrats Bree!
