Life lessons from Prom Movies!

Prom season is in full swing! To help get you in the mood we picked our favorite prom centric movies and give you some ideas to make prom one for the books here are some movie inspirations!

Back to the Future 1985

Chances are you will not marry your high schools sweetheart, but if your parents were high school sweethearts and your very existence depended on them getting together at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance and somehow you ended up going back in time to watch it all go down. . .this is heavy!

Drive Me Crazy 1999

What happens when your perfect prom date doesn't ask you to the dance? Well Nicole(Melissa Joan Hart) finds the perfect date hiding in her scruffy boy next door Chaise(Adrian Grenier) well with a makeover of course!

Pretty in Pink 1986
How about when the perfect guy does ask you to prom but you get in a fight and you don't want to go anymore? You make an awesome prom dress out of your sisters hand me down dress and a vintage dress from dad! Be sure to tune in for the super sweet ending!

10 Things I Hate About You 1999
Or when dad says you can't go to prom unless your older sister(who hates all things high school) goes. You find her a prom date of course, but not just any date will work(Heath Ledger yes please!), and you may have to pay him and when she finds out. . . you have to watch to see!

Grease 1978

While not exactly a prom we do learn you should have killer dance moves,
but it is very important to stick with your date!

Napoleon Dynamite 2004

Conversation can be hard when you are finally dancing with your dream date!
When all else fails, give them a compliment. "I like your sleeves."

She's All That 1999
When the most popular boy in school Zack(Freddie Prinze Jr) makes a bet he can turn the most unpopular girl in school Laney(Rachel Lee Cook) into the Prom Queen you know there are going to be some crazy antics, if you need more incentive Paul Walker is totally hot and Usher is the DJ!

Never Been Kissed 1999

And for all of us past prom going age we can always hope to relive the glory days ala Josie(Drew Barrymore)  as the copywriter who goes undercover to see what high school is really about! Just be sure to come as your favorite couple in history!
